Throughout 2010, we have run several contests in conjunction with the
Serial Number Database:
The winning continues here at the Canadian Paper Money Forums! For our fourth contest,
BCS Banknote Certification Service in Kitchener, Ontario has given us another twenty five free note certifications to give away to five lucky members of this site.
The Serial Number Database has been loaded up with five secret numbers. The first five forum members to add a note to the SNDB that matches one of those secret numbers will win five free note certifications! The odds of winning are about 1:200. The more notes you add to the SNDB, the better chance you have of winning.
To enter the contest, simply add your notes to the Serial Number Database!If the SNDB declares you a winner, you need to email me a scan or photo of the winning note to confirm that you actually have it. If you've already deposited the note back to the bank, or if you've spent it, your win will be disqualified. Only new entries to the SNDB as of this posting are eligible. Winners will receive an email from BCS confirming their prize.
Estimated prize value: CAD$75.00. Winners are responsible for paying all costs above and beyond the basic note certification cost (ie: insurance, shipping, and all additional certifications). BCS reserves the right to cancel or revoke the offer at any time. There are five separate prizes available to be won, but you can only win once. Only notes entered to the SNDB after the start of the contest are eligible to win. Members who have won a previous prize within the last six months are ineligible.
