Title: $1 1974 With Offset
Post by: Archerg on September 08, 2018, 09:37:40 am
{attach:6160}Bill is circulated but I think will grade well, apparently my great uncle worked in the treasury departmwnt of a transit company and spotted this while counting.  Depending on value, I may have it graded. Thanks for looking.

Nice error note for sure.  According to the Charlton Standard Catologue of Canadian Government Paper money 2018 edition your note, if uncirculated, would catalogue at $600 if 75% or upto 90% is offset onto the back.  Which it clearly is in that range.   However your note is far from uncirculated, in my opinion its a VF grade with a value about 20% of uncirculated price. Hope this helps, Murray

Actually the Catalogue Value Guide for a VF grade is 40% of Uncirculated so the note could be valued at around CAD $240.
