North Shore Numismatic Society has been forced into some major changes for its shows, with the looming redevelopment at Oakridge.
There will now be five one-day shows, all on Saturdays, with the first one on January 31. Shows will be open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
They will be held at the Nikkei Cultural Centre and Museum at 6888 Southoaks Crescent, in Burnaby.
It's located very close to Kingsway and Sperling, about four km east of Metrotown.
It is a great location, with underground parking and a great Japanese restaurant at the location. Plenty of other amenties close to the show.
With larger hall capacity, the shows are now including stamps, postcards and other collectibles.
Admission remains at $2.
Hope you call come out and see the first show in the new setting tomorrow.
