Hi All:

Stumbled on to this while have lunch.

It's about $1000 notes and the possible vignettes for the backs. I found it quite interesting.

An interesting little article. If the bank of Canada had issued a 1969 series $1,000 note and used the Laurentian  scene, it would have been a really nice looking note. Too bad.  :(

That was interesting. There are some interesting examples of other artwork which never saw the light of the day in  Art of Banknote book by the BoC which is now available for free download from their website.

Wonder what paper money would say if it could talk?

Got a link to the "Art and Design of Canadian Banknotes". I wouldn't mind a soft copy to go along with my physical book.
