1$ with light blue serial numbers - unusual or not ?

Some time in the 80s I picked up these four Crow-Bouey 1$ bills . Only 2 weeks later as I was putting them in holders
and compared them to others I noticed that they had light blue serial numbers instead of the dark blue .
Returned to the bank hoping to get more but all were dark blue .
They are cut a bit smaller and the serial numbers are tighter together .

Are these light blue numbers common ?

The notes starting with B were printed by the Canadian Bank Note company and the ones starting with E by the British American Bank Note company. The colours often vary from one place to the other, I think it's just a normal difference between the two printers.

Hi ... just saw this now ... does seam to be any notification when you get a reply .
The Charlton Catalogue does not mention color variations on BABN 1$ notes .

The CBNs notes starting with A and B - what I have seen - are consistently dark blue .
The BABNs notes starting with E I have are considerable lighter blue .
A side by side comparison reveals a fluctuation within the light blue even .

Nothing that special then  ... normal for that time period then 70s/80s I assume .
The minor size difference is then only a feature of the printing company .
