Hey

I recently picked up this banknote at a local show and was hoping to find someone with a little extra info. The latest Charlton guide indicate that the serial number on this note was part of a hoard numbered N0744XX. My question is how large was this hoard, is it safe to assume it contained notes from 074400 to 074499? In my several years of collecting I have only seen about a dozen of these mostly ranging in Fine to VF. Any info provided will be greatly appreciated.

I am also interested in the Banque Provinciale 1928 $20. I was disappointed to see that a register for this note was not included in the  CPMS note registry - First Edition 2009.  If there is a register for this banknote, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide a copy.  PM or email at: flavia.alain@sympatico.ca

Thanks.

Rare note registers are for rare notes.  This particular issue is not rare by definition if a hoard exists.  Having said that, however, anyone is free to start a note register for any chartered note issue they think is significant.
