Hi everyone,
I'm a beginner collector. I'm quite interested in the Bank of Canada specimen notes set, can you tell me the market price for the specimen set of 1954/1973 and the Birds series? How many sets were issued? Some dealer claimed that there are less than 750 specimen birds sets issued but I saw some sets carry the number 8XX, why is that? thanks!!!
regards,
Michael

Hello,

You should buy a Charlton 2008 catalogue of Canadian Govornment Paper Money before spending any significant money on your collection.  The cat. will answer all your questions and then some.  From what I've read in the forum, you can also find the cat. at libraries. I'd buy one.  It's a must have.
