Title: Third Party grading worth THAT MUCH MORE!!!

Hey all I was just looking over ebay and I come across this note the bv=$70 and its on ebay with 3 hours left selling for $280.96 thats $210 Over book  :o :o just because its graded in UNC67 by PMG!!?? unless I am missing somthing.... :-/ if you want the ebay number pm me

I think it bid from "Buddy-bidder", No way any of us can go more then $70. :-/

normaly yes I would have thought that but.... The seller is Don Olmstead...  :-/

ok we have to be missing somthing because it sold for $405.01! that is $335.01 Over book on a $70 note!!!!  :o :-/ :-?

Is it conceivable that the bidders had alterior motives such as promoting the PMG grading service?? I can just see all the sellers rushing out to get their notes certified after witnessing a sale like this...

And how does a note get graded Unc67 anyway? I could see if it had exceptionally abnormally wide margins but that just looks like any old bill from my collection that I paid 40 bucks for.
