Title: 1969 $20 no B/R
Post by: d_polo on January 09, 2005, 10:44:47 pm
How they didn't issue a 1969 $20 with Bauey/Rasminsky signatures? I mean the 1971 $10 and $5 had those signature combinations, but the $20 only seems to have Beattie/Rasminsky and Lawson/Bauey.

They print notes in batches, and  there might have been a good supply of Beattie Rasminsky notes on hand.  Mr. Bouey was Senior Deputy Governor for only 13 months before becoming Governor.  Perhaps during this period of time there was no need to order more Twenties from the printers.  Just my hypothesis.
