Post by: Ottawa on September 06, 2006, 01:29:22 am: This note is #DC-15a in the 2007 Edition of the Charlton Standard Catalogue of Canadian Government Paper Money where it is assigned a retail value of $7.00 in Good (G) condition and $12.00 in Very Good (VG) condition. The value of $5 - $8 provided by fellow member Gary_T is therefore entirely correct.

All signature varieties of 1900 Shinplasters are common in grades below Fine but are scarce to rare in grades above VF.

This thread reminded me that I have in my collection an ABN Co. engraved Proof of this very same note. I will request members' opinions about this Proof in a separate thread.
