Title: Local Lankmark Cinema refusing older $50 and $100.

I saw a sign posted at my local Landmark Cinema saying they no longer accept the older style $50 and $100s. I'm not sure if they mean the bird series or the multi-coloured series? But I still don't know why the general public has to be inconvienienced just because some cashiers aren't educated enough to know the difference between a fake and a real banknote. Anybody dealing with money should know/learn the difference.

Among the major chain retailers in the Vancouver area that are refusing Birds $100's:

Safeway
London Drugs
Shoppers Drug Mart
Choices Market

All of these, however, accept the Journey $100.
