Title: 2020 New Years resolutions?

Avoiding most if not all of the 'gift ware' from the RCM and slowly evaluating what I have to determine whether it still fits or is just excess 'eye candy' that in a few years no one will really want or care about unless they can get it for melt or less than 50% issue price.

It's not all that easy to sell something that has brought you joy and has an emotional connection but at the end of the day it's either that and knowing it's gone to a good home or picked apart by vultures.

While my collecting interests haven't changed and I enjoy the hunt or a good bargain, I'm being more selective and still trying to compensate from getting caught up in the buying frenzy from 2014-2017.

Post by: dasche on January 06, 2020, 07:30:17 am: Definitely going to be working on the quality over quantity from this point forward. The last few years have filled out the quantity of my collection quite nicely. Now I am focusing on specific notes to fill in the gaps.
