I rarely see new prefixes these days.  I agree that new prefixes are a hit or miss these days due to being slowly trickled into circulation.  This is what happens when ordering bundles of new bills becomes very expensive, and banks realize it's a lot cheaper to trickle out a few new bills mixed in with mostly recycled bills.

This trend has been happening with $20s for some years now and had evolved to the $50s and now $100s. The rollout of many of the HJ* prefixes on the $100 has been quite slow so far (except for HJA).  HJB was finally released after such a long time (until HJB, much of the HJ* prefixes were released in B.C. and the Prairies, and they may now be starting to appear in Ontario), and HJD is the only outstanding Lane/Macklem prefix yet to be released.

I only visited one branch today, that I had also visited on Friday, so today's finds were half of the same notes I swapped out on Friday.  I'm sure of this because I always separate my HBG to HCB notes and sort them alphabetically and numerically before I check to see if they are replacement notes, and I got the exact same ones back today.  LOL

What is nice though is I did get a small run of UNC INM notes and there was an nice 3-digit repeater there for me.

I'll take it.

I was visiting a friend today and their father had a small stack of CT money sitting on his desk and I exchanged them for cash.  This will keep me busy on a rainy day ... unless someone has any info for me on these notes. I tried to sort them oldest (pic 2) to newest (pic 1) dates, matching the signature combinations.

The information I have is that the Lane-Macklem $20 notes began at
FZT 8019000 and ended at
FLH 4364999.

It looks like there are plenty in storage yet!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately those email addresses aren't working. The webmaster one keeps bouncing back saying undeliverable and I get no response from the info address...

I entered only 2 FZZ into the database but had a couple hundred.  Since the database does not like runs only the first and last note were entered.

Does anybody have any other contact info for the CPMS? I payed for membership and received my membership number and was then asked to contact the webmaster to get a password. That email keeps bouncing back saying it's undeliverable. I have tried info@cpmsonline.ca and also responding to the email that was sent with my membership number but no response to those either.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Here's a screenshot of the Lane Macklem $20 SNDB data.  So far, nobody has reported the FZT Lane Macklem change over.  In fact, only 55 Lane Macklem $20 have been reported on the SNDB as of today. This data is limited however b/c runs of notes could have been found but only 2 notes will be counted by the database.

AZ sums it up well: tough to say whether the Lane FZT high change-over will be tough but it will likely be a challenge to source on in UNC due to the way they've been released in the past.
