Recently purchased a very nice 1913 Royal Bank $20 in VF+. The note was auctioned on ebay in Mid March and I got it for $2050. I am very pleased with this purchase and this will make a superb adition to my collection.

I am very interested in knowing if anyone has ever come accross an UNC or AU of this note? The best I have ever seen is possibly a VF35 or EF40

I will try to post the scans if anyone is interested in seing it. It may take a little while as I have been having problems with my FTP server lately.

Just acquired a 1935 $1 English with serial number A0000008 in Unc.  I paid well over book, but how
often do you see a 1935 bank note with a serial number less than 10 for sale.  The number 8 will have
some special interest to an Asian paper money collector.

Think according to my Grade 6 math there couldn't have been more than 9 of these printed in total, given the prefix, this is probably the only one around. Dunno. It's a nice original Unc. I like it.

Bought this of Ebay, a very nice GUnc. paid $325. Now saving for the $50.

I paid 25% over book at Torex today for the following set of notes from Don Olmstead.  I was content in paying
that price since the notes are totally original, grade CUnc to GUnc and they are all solid 7s, one of the more
desirable solid numbers.

These go well with my 1954 $50 solid 7s.

Very interesting, some of the 7777777 serial numbers have Curved-Stem 7's while others have Straight-Stem 7's. Have these  font variations on the 1954 Series been reported and/or studied before?

By the way, you could refer to these 7777777 notes as "Super Sevens" as there are SEVEN 7's on each note!
