Looking for the following scans in order to update the moneymuseum website (http://moneymuseum.bwjm.ca/).

- Low numbered notes - any denomination, any year and preferably UNC or notes that show really well.
Though any condition will be perfect for the 1937 low numbered notes

- Low numbered 1979 $5s and $20s - once again preferably UNC or notes that show really well.

- Low numbered sets from the 1954s series up to the birds series. The more notes in the matching sets the better  ;D

Please make sure that these notes/scans are yours and not just pictures off of the web. Please send the scans to bwjm@cdnpapermoney.com as well as oli1001@hotmail.com. Please make sure to send it to BOTH emails!

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who has submitted photos so far.

I would just like to clarify the request however. These images are going to be potentially used on the Online Canadian Paper Money Museum, and thus they should ideally be of very high quality. Ultimately, we prefer scanned images of UNC banknotes. In cases where high-grade examples are extremely difficult to obtain, then lower-grade scanned images will of course be appreciated.

We prefer scanned images over digital photos because scanned notes are almost perfectly straight, the colours are crisp and clear, there are no shadows, no backgrounds to get rid of, and no currency sleeves to blur the image.

One of the intended requests of this thread was a low-numbered matched set (ie: those available from the Bank of Canada auctions) of any series (1954, MC, Birds, etc). Individual, mismatched notes lack the impact that a complete, matched set would have for guests to the website.

While we sincerely appreciate all contributions, only those selected for use will appear on the website. Contributors will be contacted again for explicit permission if we decide to use an image.

Still looking for some more scans of low numbered notes. Please send the scan to Brent and I at bwjm@cdnpapermoney.com and oli1001@hotmail.com. Once again we need some scans of some nice low numbered notes, under a 1000, that are in Unc condition or show really well. Please make sure that these notes are part of your collection or a friend's collection not just scans off of ebay or other websites.

Please PM Brent or Moi if you have any questions rather than posting it.

Thankyou in advance.
