Title: Who is the oldest member?

I would like to know who created this forum and when? Who was the first member registered and when?

I think this forum is the third version. The original forum was created by Paul Wallis 11 or 12 years ago, because I remember that I was a member of the original forum.

So according to the list Paul Wallis was the first member and I was the 7th !

Yes, it's true. I started the www.cdnpapermoney.com website in 1998 and added the first forum in 2000. We had some technical difficulties in the early days, but managed to keep going (I have no IT training). Early versions of YaBB were used until Brent switched over to SMF a few years back.

Yes, I tip my hat to Paul for being the 'inventor/creator' of the original cdnpapermoney.com website way back when.   

I originally joined somewhere between 2001-2002.   This site was and continues to be the best site for Canadian paper money collectors. 

I can't believe how time flies by. 

Happy 10 years to the Canadian Paper Money Forum! (as Paul mentioned it was added in 2000)
