I just received by fax a sad news from Mtmstores (Montreal Stamps & Coins). They will do a bankrupcy sale soon. That's an other coin dealer that is closing in Montreal since a few years. I remember 10 years ago we had Mintmaster, J&M and a few others. That was the good old days. I guess I should move in Ontario. :'(

I know they had many items on Ebay that ended today. I hope it won't affect the winning bidders of those auctions.

That is indeed sad to hear. They were great to do business with.

I did one deal with MTMSTORES not all that long ago and was very impressed at not only his excellent customer service, and communication but the quality of product that I purchased.  I had a number of discussions with him and I too am very sad to see someone go out of the business that I truly felt I could trust and do dealings without hesitation of being mislead.

MTM were good to deal with.
That's very sad and I'm sorry to hear it.
It's very difficult for the brick and mortar establishments.
Let's hope the remaining enterprises can endure...

Good news everyone. They are not going bankrupt, they are just doing a big sale. I guess they say bankruptcy sale to attract more people like me and I guess it worked.

I went to the store this morning and there were many people. All the banknotes they had were at book price less 40% off and they will probably increase the rebate to 50% off soon.

I only bought a 1986 UNC T-C ARX for 60% of catalogue. They have many UNC 1954-1967-1973-1974-1972-1979-1971 regular notes for sale.

At least I had a good time and I'm glad to know that they not closing.  :)

They don't seem to have a web site but here are their coordinates:
