1954 $5 *R/C (Beattie-Coyne) BC-39aA-i

Does anyone else feel that this note is way under priced for what it is?  ???

There are only 8,000 known and yet there is still such a low value in the Charlton Standard Catalogue.

CURRENT PRICES

VG Condition= $35

F Condition = $50

VF Condition = $90

EF Condition = $175

AU Condition = $325

Unc Condition = $425

C.Unc Condition = $500

G.Unc Condition = $575

No, i don't think its under-priced at all. Though only 8,000 were printed, they are not the hardest to find. The hardest to find and the more valuable remain *L/S, *N/S, *W/S and *I/X all with higher QTYs printed but with lower amounts available today. Finding these notes in UNC are much harder to find then *R/C.

Yes, I do agree with you but how many of the Be-Co *R/C are left in a good condition?

I think a Be-Co *R/C in Unc condition should be at least $700.

I think the 1954 Devils Head prices should rise as well, they are extremely low!

What do you think?
