Look at this auction for a so called RARE 1973 Commemorative $1 note.
This is a direct quote from the seller. "TO COMMEMORATE 30 YEARS OF THE LOON DOLLAR, A SPECIAL LOGO WAS ADD BY A PRIVATE COMPANY IN 2007 ON THE LAST CANADIAN PAPER DOLLAR, ISSUED IN 1973"

Looks like a scam to me cause it's really a Canada goose not a loon as stated.

Are people allowed to add stuff to notes like this?

This topic has been discussed in depth before with "the gold flag note" here is the link.

One of these notes just sold for $12.00 with $2.50 shipping.

Paid $2.50 for shipping. Wait till they pay with paypal and file a claim for the shipping number. It is called clawback from PP.
