The signatures are correct on the note itself, but the holder includes wrong information.

Always remember when you're buying a TPG'd note: buy the note, not the holder. That same wisdom extends to reading what's on the note as the holder can be wrong (as is the case here).

yeh sorry, i should have specified. I ment wrong signature on the holder. the Gordon-Towers signature is correct for the serial number range specified on p.216 of the Charlton.
