This banknote is printed by DeLaRue (no news there). But I only recently learnt that two polymer substrates are used by DeLaRue for printing. According to a deal the Bank of England made in 2019 55% of the first batch are being printed on ''Guardian'' substrate and 45% on Safeguard substrate. And yes, if one looks really carefully one can see the difference between the two.
I have seen pictures on a German blog (I am not sure if I am allowed to link it).

Differences can also be seen on the polymer £20 featuring JMW Turner where 75% are being printed on ''Guardian'' and 25% on Safeguard.

I have a small handheld detector which validates Guardian substrate banknotes.  It's pretty cool.

Is it a "Verus™ H" made by CCL Secure (makers of the Guardian substrate)?
