Title: According to some, our currency not politically correct enough

I have no problem with what was chosen.  But I guess some will never be happy.

I think the notes are fantastic in the story they tell. BOC notes are like diplomats and I think it's a great idea that they have put up some of our achivements in stead of some "political issues" that are easily dated and hardly will survive the lifespan of the notes.

The only thing that upsets me is that they didn't pay tribute to canadian peacekeepers as the theatre in Afghanistan is all to recent and controvercial. Call me a patriot but I believe our peacekeepers really deserve some recognition.. Vimmy memorial is nice... but something more recent would've been nicer in my opinion.

Good grief, images depicting snow were rejected? Hey this is Canada, we get snow! It looks like the inmates are running the asylum.....
I think the images on the new notes are just fine!
