Title: An artist reinvents our banknotes

You handle them, triturez them, sometimes draw on it. But do you know who is on your ticket of $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100? A Visual of Congolese origin artist, Moridja Kitenge Banza, had the idea to go get other heads to represent the Canada. The goal? Revisit its history.

It's a refreshing change. The inclusion of political figures on bank notes is becoming less common throughout the world. The notes of more and more countries feature portraits of figures who made names for themselves for other reasons - in science, music, art, engineering, literature. Maybe I'm in the minority but I would like to see this kind of change occur on Canadian notes as well.
