So just a newbie and getting back into this and really enjoying the journey thus far. I've checked out some of the local dealers .. I'm looking forward to the shows that are provided in Winnipeg coming up in September. I have also been watching a number of items of interest on many auction sites.

The other day I was in chapters and after picking up a 2013 Charlton I also noticed a book called The Coin Collector's Survival Manual I decided to pick it up and while a lot of the information may be common knowledge I have really enjoyed the read thus far.

Just wondering is there any good books you would suggest that deal with paper money?

go out and buy the Charlton standard catalogue of Canadian paper money...It's the go-to reference for all of us on the forum.

oops...Since you already bought the 2013 Charlton guide... Maybe you would consider a subscription to the Canadian Coin News paper...lots of good info in there about coins and paper money.
