Just wondering if this great forum can help my brother. He has aquired a 1912 Train note graded VF25, its series B seal only DC-21f . Where can he check for value and population is there a registry online that he can see this noted registered? We have checked the latest Charlton book and the serial numbers C651343 do not seem to match up with the range that it says it should. We are just beginning to learn and collect these wonderfull old notes so any help is mutch appreciated

The series letter is C, the Charlton catalogue number is DC-21g.
(PMG has the wrong catalogue number on the holder; addition of a new variety a few years ago caused a renumbering of some of the last varieties and they may have graded it prior to that.)
This note turned up again in the Heritage Sale of 2 Feb. 2010 and is recorded on page 61 of the CPMS registry from an earlier sale.  That registry is not on line.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Bob, thats great information! We thought we were missing something as the serial number was wrong so now it all makes sense.
