Title: Printing of the Journey $5s.
Post by: Hudson A B on September 24, 2006, 01:50:29 pm
I assume they are in 5x8 format (please correct me If I am wrong). But here is why:

5 x 8 format:
100 sheets = 4000 notes
200 sheets = 8000 notes.
250 sheets = 10,000 notes
500 sheets = 20,000 notes.

Just want to get clarification that this is the basis for ranges with the Journey $5s at this point.
The FPN/BPNs of notes that are in the bottom half of a traditional brick are different that the ones on the top half.
ie:
HOS 1234321 will have a different fpn/bpn than
HOS 1234567, even though theyare the same prefix.
This is what I have noticed when comparing bricks. It is not split at the 250, like the bricks are for inserts, and it is not by the 1000 notes, like BABN.

Thus, 500 sheets consectuively will be the "run" at a particular time.  Thus the insert ranges that are in 20,000 note increments.

Please, some insight on this ...

That is a GREAT question...

I would also like to know how the mixed bricks are assembled as I have still seen repetitive mixed bricks so they can STILL be very predictable.  ;)
