matching serial numbers

Do matching serial numbers on 2 different notes command a premium.
PLEASE MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AND EVERYONE SAY NO
I just went through two bricks and after returning them realized that I had 10 consecutive $5 journeys notes with the same serial numbers at home that were in the bricks.  And NO there is no way to get any off them back because they were already shipped out.

Not so quick Scott.   I think in some circumstances matching serial number notes are valued at a premium over
the price the notes would realize separately.    :o

notes with the same numbers have done very well in major auctions. Ask Charles Moore.

Is this matching set of serial numbers worth anymore than the sum of the individual notes ?

Does the fact that the notes are from sequential prefixes add to the value ?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Wanna sell them cheap ;D
Actually since the color is not as vibrant on one note as it is on the other I think there should be a reduction in value  ;D

Brent: What a terrible answer. The original topic asked for a couple of answers, that all.

Notes with the same serial number often sell for higher than the separate notes. The books don't indicate any differences, but sales figures in real auctions indicate the opposite. Cute offers to buy them violate the rules to buy/sell on this forum, otherwise, a couple of the comments tended to be silly.
