Hello,

My grandmother gave me a bunch of $1 bills from the 1973 series. They are in absolutely perfect condition, she said they were not circulated. I have included pictures of the first and last in the series. They are all identical in quality. They start from ECF7284410 and go through to ECF7284429. Her note that she wrote when she got them (attached to the envelope that they are inside of said "these are the last". I'm not sure what that means. Are there any gems in here? What are the values? This is so exciting!

I haven't ever been into this sort of thing so I'm thrilled that I found this wonderful forum with so many people willing to help!

Cheers,

Chris

Hello
Welcome to the forum.  Grandma was correct, these are the last one dollar notes printed in Canada in 1973.  Now there are not even two dollar notes.  These are extremely common notes, even in perfect uncirculated condition the catalogue value is in the range of 3-5.00 each.  They are a great keepsake but not a lottery winner!
