$10 1935 bank of Canada

This $10 orange bill dated MONTREAL Jan 2nd 1935, red number is 1085010. ANY idea the value today?

Surprised no one has responded to your straight forward enquiry.  Fact is the only 1935 Bank of Canada banknote that is orange is the $5.00 note.   The ten is a dark purple.  The value for the Englsih $5 note, according to the 22nd (2010) edition of the Charlton Standard Catalogue (available at your local bookstore), ranges from $50 for a banknote rated as "Good" to $2,000 for the first level "UNC."

The French note ranges from $75 to $7,000 for "Good" to "UNC".  Hope you've got a strong one.

this is probably a Royal Bank $10, a relatively common not. Need a grade to make a valuation but VG is about $50. High-end uncirculated can go to about $850, depending on variety....
