How about a single thread for users in search of specific note or notes. You could even post what you are willing to pay for specific issues such as twoinvallarta has recently done with looking for solids and $ 50 Devil's.

I'll start it off with an example

I'll pay 110% of book for any $50 1937 Osborne from in grades from F-EF.

Who knows we all might get hooked up with what we are looking for a lot sooner

Good idea Buxvet ;D  I'll add to the thread.

Looking for journey $20's: 2 digit radar (about EF or better)- 1000001, 8000008, 0066600. 110% of book offered, 120% for the rotator.

Journey $20's low and repeater (about EF or better):  0000666, 0071007 (125% of book).

Fancy numbers journey $20's (about EF or better):  1111007, 0071111, 1100711,  there's no book value, but I'll pay a nice premuim depending on condition.

(I'll consider other notes with these numbers, but prefer journey $20's.)

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me  peeps!

Matt

That note has gone up a ton the last few editions

18th - $ 315
19th - $ 400
20th - $ 600  ( of course with the 3rd GUNC grade )

It's not that easy a note to find. But they are around
I have come across a few over the years that I felt were accurately graded and what I felt were strong buys. All only VF's though. It's surprisingly a $ 60 note.

Definitely agree with that. Can't recall seeing a true Gem Unc for a few years and any "unc's" I've seen in auction have always brought a strong premium over cat.

Yes I know, I had the chance to buy one at J&M last Christmas but decided on the $2 and $5, both B/C short run Unc's. But hey, if I could buy everything at once it would be alot less gratifying.

I'm also on the lookout for a repeaters with a 786 theme, so either 7860786, or 7867867.  also fancy number 7860000 (premium to be discussed), and low number 0000786.  Any denomination will be considered.  Book + 20% :-*

There has been a list of numbers wanted on the WIKI site for quite a long time all ready and is much more organized than this.

Here is the link and I hope this helps.

I was telling all members not only you and I'm not a moderator so I would not know how and when it ever gets updated.
