Title: Differently printed seial numbers

As per image attached, you can see that on this bill, the left serial number is printed boldly, but that the right serial number is printed faintly.

Did this occur often, or is it a rare variant?

It's a BC-67b-i (Jenkins-Carney), looking uncirculated
