Found HOH 9911829 inserted in a brick of HOT notes today. This note was inserted between HOT 5691500 and HOT 5691749. Also found another insert HOH 9908329 in between HOT 5688001 and HOT 5688000. This was a fresh brick with white bands, not manipulated in any way. Has anyone else found such inserts in this range?

I can post pictures and provide plate numbers if necessary.

There have been a few finds of high HOH replacements in HOT bricks. The ranges I know of are 9.56 - 9.58, 9.64, 9.73 and 9.91. Odd to see these show up after the use of HOL, HOS, HOR replacements.

Very odd, that is why I posted it to see if anyone else has found any. If there known ranges how come they are not updated on our insert charts.....not enough evidence? They must have had some HOH notes sitting in the corner collecting dust and decided to use them as inserts. Will these ranges be updated in the 20th charlton, or again not enough evidence?

Reviewing some old posts I found that Hudson also found these inserts in a HOT brick, http://www.cdnpapermoney.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1144147803

Ok everyone. Ready for a ride of your life.  This one is a puzzler.  I think I found a  insert range or a continuation of a previous.  This one is a kicker.....

here we go....

Found in a brick of new unc 5 bill with white bands, and white papers.

Bundle 1
HOU 0223043-***0223017 bp 29 fp 13
insert HOH 9763143-9763128
HOU 0223016
HOU 0212999-***944  bp 32  fp28

Bundle 2
HOU 0212757-***751  fp 32   bp 28
insert HOH  9772627-***593 and insert  HOH  9772509-***559     fp32   bp  28
HOU 0212750
HOU  0215499-***494

Bundle 3
HOU 0226093-***17  Fp 18  Bp 34
insert  HOH 9766143-9766128
HOU  0226016
HOU  0228749-***744

I think that is enough for you to digest at first.  If you want to talk to me  email me.  These HOH inserts are so very close to the others .   I think we have a new insert range.

Next Question:

HOU does not have many ranges as I am guessing looking at the forum..    Yes HOU is new but  if HOV and HOW are out, we have to be getting to a short prefix.
Am I incorrect about this?  Can anyone expand on this?

The ranges for HOU are (as the forum  lists)

.02 M-09  M
5.4 M-
9.4- 9.6 M

I look for your input forum members

Cheers

I have to agree that there is some odd HOH insert ranges out there, though the ranges must be tight and not just one lump used from 9M to 9.999M. I distinctly remember receiving HOH bricks that were in the 9M+ range, when the notes were first issued, and they were just regular notes. Thus regular issue notes exist in the 9M range and not all the notes in the 9M+ range are inserts. However this is strictly an presumption.

As for the HOU regular issue notes, all I need to do is point out Journey $10 BEZ notes, everyone got excited until the rest of the notes were released. Most likely, the notes posted on the forum are only in a couple ranges because once the high 9M range got posted there was no need to post the 3M, 4M, 6M, 7M, 8M ranges because they were neither highs or lows. But I am pleased by your wishful thinking Polarbear ;)

** Though if I'm wrong I will gladly purcahse some from you  :D
