Other than face value that is. Had them for ages.
5c small note, with the "running tire" on it. Serial number S3106628. Rough condition around the edges, scotch taped together from a rip across it, couple of letters in red ink on the back
25c small note, with the "running tire" on it. Serial number V5083368. Several small (about 1 cm max) rips
Thanks for any ideas you can give.

Hello!
Your 5¢ note is from the 8th series of Gas Bar notes, it should have Sasaki / Billies signatures. From the condition you describe, it would catalog as a VG. Unless it it used as a hole filler, it would not be worth keeping. There were 2.65 million printed and they are not rare.
As for the 25¢ note, it is from the 9th and last series of Gas Bar notes, it should have the Heuman / Groussman signatures. It sounds like it could catalog as a Fine. There were 1.9 million printed and it is not worth much more than double face to a collector.
