For my grade 8 Graduation this year my parents got me a 1954 "Devil's Head" $5 Note with the more scarce prefix " C/C ", C.Unc+ Condition

how good is that , what are you going to ask for your birthday.

Why not asterisk devil face notes :o

I wish I could get an asterisk Devil's Head note but the prices are just to high :(

For my birthday I am probably going to ask for a 1954 Devil's Head $10 in Unc+ condition! (But I am trying to get a set of devil's head notes $1-$100 in Unc+ Condition with scarcer prefix's Example: H/A or T/A for the $1 D/B or I/B for the $2 I already have the $5 E/D or J/D for the $10 and B/E or E/E for the $20 and then for the $50 and the $100 I hope to get Be-Co signatures because they are scarcer!) It will take an extremely long time for me to find the $50 and $100 especially since they sell for $1500 each.

I had a look at the $5 "Devil's Face" note and it was extremely under graded. It should have been graded a C.unc or C.Unc+.
I can guarantee that if I sent it into a Canadian grading company it would come back as a C.Unc or a G.Unc note.
I might send this note to Canadian note grading service.
Can anyone recommend one? (If so can you please leave a link)

I have heard this before ...but long time collectors and dealers alike....there is no guarantee.

Trust me this note is flawless and there is still the original ripple to the note that all 1954 notes should have if they are true Unc+ notes.

Some dealers are still grading like they did before the last catalogue. Where Unc. is Unc if not it's AU.
Before the last catalogue there was no such grade as Ch. Unc. or Gem Unc.

That would make sense!
