I just withdrew four $20 bills from the bank machine with serial numbers of different shades.  One side is the regular dark black printing and the other side has been applied at an obviously much lighter shade almost as if the machine was close to running out of ink.

Are they worth a premium do you think?

Could you please post an image of the note?

I tried scanning it but it won't work.  Apparently my Epson Scanner and software has banknote protection on it and it takes me to this bank note law site.  What scanner software do you guys use?

After seeing the scan, I'll agree that it may be a weaker-than-normal impression, but not nearly enough to get excited about. I would spend that note in a heartbeat.
