As all of ye know, the new $20 note is officially released on the 29th of September, and I just want to make sure of two things:

1.  Does the release date actually mean that they are put on armoured vehicles and airplanes and shipped throughout the country over a two-week period?

2.  Which provinces will possibly get the new notes first?

According to my theory, the previous new releases (the $10, $5, and $100 respectively) never came to NL until the day after its first day of issue.

So, I don't think I should expect the new notes here in NL until at least Thursday, September 30th (the $20 note) and Thursday, November 18th (the $50 note).

Bye 4 now, Jonathan ;)

Yes we all know that the "release date" is when the bills are placed in armoured vans.  Given that these are $20, which is the most used note, expect to see them very quickly.

Yes thats true. I use Royal Bank and their machines only give out 20's So im sure that i will have no trouble whatsoever to get them. I have been very lucky with the journey series so far. Got the 10$ 1 day after release date. Got the 5 the day it came out. The 100, well it was released in Mid march... though i finally got mine on july 16, 4 months later.
