Title: Market slow - things cheaper?

I'm trying to find and buy a pair of 1954 series 1000s in AU or better; I think the Charlton prices of $8500 for the AU Devil's head is a probably optimistic in this market, but I can't find one to test my theory!  Any thoughts?
