I know some people have the new book... can I ask a favor ? Can someone can scan me the Journey page of the book and send them to me by email ???

I really need this to make my new list.......Mid-August is a little bit too far....

Or if anybody can find me a book and send me XpressPost, that would be awsome !

Thank you very much in avance!  :D

I was at Indigo yesterday and was told all the books were returned due to a recall.

It would be nice if someone with the book could list the Journey series notes with the prices for CU notes on the forum for the benefit of all members.

The Chapters on Douglas St in Victoria had 5 as of 4 PM today... I had the poor employee run into the stockroom to grab mine as they weren't on the shelves yet. I will do my best to answer questions as to updated prices.

The book itself, at least my copy, is very heavily inked with misaligned text sprinkled throughout and ink bleedthrough in spots.

I guess I lucked out, then, because the overinking isn't too bad in my copy.

Yes, mine is worst in the first few hundred pages and gets better as the book goes on... Thank goodness I am primarily interested in Journey notes and errors  ;D

I ordered the catalogue last night at 11:30pm with express delivery, and recieved it today before noon!

Some of the photos in the first half of the book look a little dark, but it's not that bad. Aside from that it looks fine to me.  8)

I submitted an online order to Chapters yesterday for a copy of the 21st edition and have just received an email stating that the book has been shipped to me.

I received my copy of the 21st edition this morning. There are no printing defects in my copy so I presume that Chapters weeded out the defective copies, returned those ones to Charlton, and proceeded to sell the good copies. Hooray for Chapters!

It's difficult to generalize, but most earlier notes (1954 and earlier) seem to have moved upwards by 5-10% or so while many of the more recent notes (i.e., in the Multicoloured and Bird series) haven't changed at all. I don't collect Journey notes myself so I can't comment on the overall changes in that section although the Sheet Replacements and Single Note Replacements have now been partitioned from the Regular Issue notes which seems like a very good idea (maybe one day asterisk and X-notes will be similarly partitioned?). There are many $20 Journey SNR's at $600 in Gem Unc so many brick hunters will be very pleased!

Not much seems to have decreased in price although I did notice that the rare 1972 $5 RS Test Note and two of the three 1954 $2 S/R Test Notes have taken a hit. They have dropped by about 10% in all grades. However, the 1974 $2 RS Test Note remains unchanged.

The 21st Edition is yet another wonderful Charlton catalogue and all associated with its publication should be highly commended. I just wish I had received my copy before the CNA Convention in Ottawa last weekend!
