which one will be higher price; the solid number note or the '1234567'!

hi everyone,

just wondering which note will be worth more or harder to get!

assume both are exact same denomination and type but one is

in solid number and the other one is a '1234567'?

I hope this is not a stupid question but I always have this in mind

but I'm sure the '1234567' will be worth more than anything like '87654321'
or '0123456' or '2345678' and so on!

Obviously there are more solids in a prefix than the ascending ladder 1234567, but I think I would still want the solid #, and from what I have seen the solids always go for more than the ladders and above book.
The catalogue also shows solids as being higher priced

thanks for your reply but in your opinion which one is more rare; the ascending ladder note or the solid number note? seems like I've seen more solid than the ladder notes

True only an opinion, but again the ladder is likely more scarce but that doesn't always make something worth more....always supply and demand

you're absolutely right, the value of an item always determine by
supply and demand even it is scarce.
so even something is 1/1 out of  this whole world but if nobody wants,
it still worth nothing,

So to me the solids look a little scarcer, and with the solids you have the aesthetics.
8's are a premium due to the Asian luck factor, and its also a rotator.
1's would be a rotator too.
9's should have a premium since it's the last in the bundle and likely damaged from the banding.

the original question I assumed was the ladder 1234567 not all of the other ascending and descending ones?

But in the Charlton Cat. (pg. 371) it says...

"The middle digit must be 8 or 0, and the remaining digits must be 0, 6, 8 or 9." It dosn't say 1. Just thought I would mention that.
