just wondering if someone was selling a big collection should a premium be added to said collection for the time and effort put into amassing such a collection

I wouldn't suggest that be the case. Typically when selling a collection, or more generally a large lot of notes, the volume discount phenomena tends to occur. Selling notes individually or in small lots is more likely to get a better net proceeds.

I agree with Brent, large collections are offered at a cheaper price then amounting each note individually

Even runs of sequential notes are often going for less than book, unless they're rare replacements, or DF's. In either case, sequentials must be in UNC to get any notice at all.
