Just courious,
would their be a way to have the serial number database alert the user if they have put in a birthday note that matches this forums users birthdays?
or for that matter, any serial numbers on our members want list?

That's on my "to-do" list. Every member will be able to specify a number of serial numbers (excluding prefixes) that they wish to be alerted for. To reduce the likelihood of misuse, I will probably cap the list at a not-unreasonable number (say 50). Whenever someone else enters a number that is on someone's watch list, an appropriate message will be displayed in blue font after adding the note. The message will likely include the user's username and a suggestion to get in contact with that person via PM to discuss a potential trade.
Of course, the details of this are far from set in stone, so some aspects of the above may change before it is fully implemented. Also, although it's on my to-do list, everything there is done on a "when I have time" basis.
Thanks!

Ask and ye shall receive.
My back is causing me pain today so I'm stuck at home. While this sucks for me, it's great for you because I have been working on a couple of SNDB features all day.
Today's second new feature is User Wish Lists!
Here's how it works...
1. On the SNDB homepage, click the link for My Wish List: {http://www.cdnpapermoney.com/sndb/images/mywishlist.gif}
2. Add the serial numbers you are looking for. (Serial numbers only, no prefixes)
3. Remove any serial numbers you're no longer interested in.
When someone enters a note to the SNDB that is on someone's Wish List, here is what they will see:

Note: Wish lists are presently limited to 50 serial numbers.
Again, I hope you all find this useful!

Great Feature Brent.

I would like to be able to easily print pages from the database. For me it is better to consult a paper copy than use the computer screen. Also I think it would be helpful to have the Charlton catalogue numbers as a heading where appropriate in the database.
Thank you
