How low/high?

How low or high do serial numbers have to be until they start becoming collectible?  Like 0000xxx or 9999xxx?  I'm a little new at this and was just wondering.

Usually according to  the "Charlton Standard Catalogue" Low Serial Numbers (Categorized as N5's) are valuable from 1-999. BUT its the lower the better.

As for highs there isn't anything really special or sought after, UNLESS its just happens to be the very last note of the series.

N5-i    represents #1
N5-ii   represents #2 to 9
N5-iii  represents #10 to 99
N5-iv  represents #100 to 999

np. See if you can pickup a copy of the Catalogue at your local bookstore/chapters/indigo, its about 15-20 (15 if you buy it online) and its full of valuable info for collectors from beginners to experts!

High number notes are just as valuable as low number notes for their data as far as putting them in the SNDB is concerned 

I enter any high's or low's on the SNDB that I come across, and a few in between.
