Hi,
I don't know if it's common (since we don't really have data to see), but when I went to the bank to get more 20$, I got a note with this error:

As you can see, the last digit (left serial) has en offet to the bottom ... I also suspect a double print.
Once I get access to the scanner, I'll scan a better shot.

This is very common and has been seen on the journey notes as well as the new $50 and $100 polymer notes
Personally I do not think that this is an error that has any value to it in my opinion

Agreed. It would be considered an error if part of the digit was missing or there was part of the previous digit.

I got a note today with a similar problem - not offset, the font isn't bold as usual:
