Title: 1923 Bank of Toronto $5 note value
Post by: masker on December 02, 2008, 09:51:15 am
Hi all,
This is my first post here although I have been lurking in the background gaining knowledge a little at a time and absolutely loving the amount of info available from the many collectors here.

I have just aquired a Bank of Toronto $5 note dated February 1st 1923 and would like to have an approx. idea of the value. This bill is not in very good condition, I would say it would be F at the best as it has many folds and creases but there are not rips, tears, holes and all the corners are intact.

I only have a copy of the Charlton Bank of Canada notes which does not list chartered notes so I can't look this up myself and would appreciate any help from someone here.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

There are two signature varieties, Lamb or Henwood at left, but the price is the same for both.
Book value is Good, $75; Very Good, $150; Fine, $200
