I have this AU+ banknote (BC39b). Does anyone have an idea of its worth ??

I would say it would have to be worth $350 or more I have never seen that on a 1954 $5 Very nice note. ;D

Wow... that's a pretty dramatic error... first one that I've seen like that... I'll take a stab and say it would bring $450-500 at auction. And perhaps abit more for the right bidders. Nice find!

You can put the note on ebay, but then you will be paying all those fees. Its always best to post the note here on the forums. If you can't find a buyer here  then I would say put it on ebay.
