Title: Serial number error
Post by: Hudson A B on September 12, 2006, 02:52:58 pm
HI all, what is something like this going for these days?  See the far right digit on the left serial number.

By the way, this is a doctored pic, I didnt have time to scan mine, so I used photoshop on another picture.
Mine is a $5 HOU prefix

One went on eBay a while back (it was a $20 note), and if I recall, it sold for about $150 to $200 Canadian.  Yours will probably be worth the same around value.

Here is a scan of it... It may not be as drastic as the $50 doctored note.

Hi Huds... A few years ago I paid 35.00CAD for a Bird series 20.00 with exactly the same error as yours. My note was in EF+ condition with the last digit being a droopy 9. I will try and post it later.
