Title: Three 1937 $1 Banknotes in Sequence
Post by: canada-banknotes on February 02, 2016, 01:52:01 pm
Here is a very nice, and perhaps unique, sequence of 1937 $1 banknotes being offered in an upcoming auction.  All are AU/Unc grade.

Salivate at your leisure.

Wow! I recall a set of 1954 $20s with the same serial numbers. Any one of the three would be the centerpiece of most people's collections.

$15,000 for the solid 9999999
$20,000 for the 10 mil note
$22,500 for #0000001 according to the 26th Ed of CGPM

-no doubt: each of these is a "trophy" note.

I think this is the 1954 $20 set that you are referring to.
