Title: Trio from 1954 - One $5 replacement note and two $50s
Post by: 12bass on February 16, 2011, 05:59:25 am
Greetings,

I recently came into possession of these 1954 notes (shown below) from a deceased relative.  One is a $5 replacement, while the other two appear to be regular $50s.  Please give an idea what these would be worth.

Thanks!

the $5 looks to be in UNC condition, is this correct? If this is the case it would be worth $100-$180. the 50's are common and they are valued $75-125
Hope this helps

Thanks!  Regarding the condition of the $5, probably not circulated, though it has been handled somewhat and showing some very minor signs, with no center fold from what I can tell.  However, I'm no expert.

If this is allowable, where would be a good place to find a buyer?
