Hi there,
My dad gave me some old Canadian Tire money yesterday, and as far as I can tell, there's one 25 cent one, two 3 cent ones and two 5 cent ones from 1974, one 5 cent 1976 Olympic issue, as well as a 10 cent and two 5 cent notes from 1961. They've definitely got some wear and tear, but a couple of them are in decent shape still. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if they're worth holding onto or not... Thanks!

If you can post scans of each note, I can figure out approximately what they're worth.

Sure, that would be great! But I can't seem to make the files small enough to post without losing all detail. Is there a way around this?

For shrinking pictures I will scan them at 300dpi, crop them and then open the picture using Paint, then using the Image tab I select Stretch/Skew then I shrink the size to about 30% and Save As ... e.g. file 1973 1 dollar 30 (just so I know what size I shrunk the picture to). Once I've checked that the size is under 75kb. It should post nice and clear.

CTC S1-B, 1961, 5c, F.Saski-A.Billes $1.75 (VG) $0.75 (G)
CTC S1-C, 1961, 10c, F.Saski-A.Billes $3.50 (VG) $1.75 (G)
CTC S4-B, 1973, 5c, F.Y.Sasaki-D.Muncaster $3.50 (F) $1.75 (VG)

I've listed first the catalogue number, then the issue year, denomination, signatures, and values in selected grades. Remember that these are estimates only.
If I were you, I would list them here on the Trading Post saying $5 plus shipping takes the lot. It's better than cashing them in at the store where you'll get a whopping $0.53, and the notes will go to a collector who is interested in this stuff.

why does ths ctm only have one signature, also .50 & 1.00 also, any help would be welcome, THANKS--the SIGNATURE IS (i think) isFY PRSAKI NOT SURE.
