I was crusing the local ah today and found a note that I was concerned about being an error note or not. Afterwards I went to the bank for some notes and found a note with the exact same condition.
Now I need to find out for sure if this is considered an error note and if so will command a premium?
The entire right side serial number is very faded almost as if the printer is out of ink.

I would say that this is not an error. I have seen many notes like this, even when new with whole bricks showing this.
I may have a few around, but I would of only kept them for the prefix, and on the lightened in on one side.

I thank you for the insight and clarification. I was skeptical when I first saw the auction, but after receiving one hours later, it makes one start to second guess themselves.
Cheers!

Just in the last week, I've had a ten and a twenty with faded serial numbers on one side. The notes were too well circulated to keep so I released them back into the wild.
